In the latest episode of Mangal Lakshmi, a mysterious twist leaves everyone stunned as a shocking truth from the past resurfaces.
The episode begins with Mangal noticing someone secretly watching her. When she calls out, the person runs away. Shanti arrives and suggests it might be Neel, advising Mangal to have listened to Adit and filed a complaint. Moments later, Mangal finds a note asking her to meet near the temple at 8 PM. Assuming it’s from Neel, she decides to confront him.
Meanwhile, Adit spends time with the kids. Kusum video calls him, reminding him to inform them about Sowmya’s pregnancy. Adit assures her he’ll do it when the time is right.
At the temple, Mangal spots someone covered with a rug. Believing it to be Neel, she removes it — only to find Neel’s mother, Sunita. Furious, Mangal accuses her of spying and threatening her family. Sunita falls at her feet, begging to share the truth about a secret hidden for 16 years.
Sunita reveals, “You didn’t give birth to a girl. You had a son.” Before she can finish, a speeding car hits her. Mangal rushes her to the hospital, where doctors declare Sunita in a coma.
A lady doctor recognizes Mangal and recalls her old delivery case. She mentions Mangal had delivered a baby boy — confusing Mangal even more. Haunted by Sunita’s words, she begins to question everything.
Later, Mangal confronts a hospital worker who finally breaks down. The worker confesses, “Sixteen years ago, Sunita swapped your newborn son with her daughter to save the girl’s life.”
The truth hits Mangal hard — Neel is her biological son, and Ishana is Sunita’s daughter.
